Community Health

Community health is part of public health and focuses on what a person can do for their own health and the health of others in their community.

A Community Health Assessment (CHA) is a core part of public health. The CHA identifies health needs of the community using a range of data sources. Input from residents though interviews, surveys and focus groups is critical to identifying the needs of each community.

Asotin County Health District will release the CHA report in February 2024. Check back for more information.
