D. Brady Woodbury, MPH
Administrator Brady holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and has been the Asotin County Health District Administrator since 2011. Brady has over 20 years of experience working in Public Health. Before moving into Administration, he worked in Public Health Emergency Preparedness and has an extensive background in Community Health Education. Along with being the Administrator, Brady is currently the regional representative on the Washington State Association of Public Health Officials, (WSALPHO) Board and on the Community Health Advisory Board. When not at the office, Brady enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and being active in the community. You'll see him reffing high school or junior high basketball, baseball, or volleyball. Brady is involved in a yearly triathlon and a race up the spiral highway on his road bike. Lora Gittins
Program Coordinator Lora moved with her family to the Lewis-Clark Valley in 2014 and has been working at Asotin County Health District (ACHD) since 2015. Originally hired as the WIC Clerk and Receptionist, Lora has expanded her knowledge and training and is currently the Program Coordinator. Her work is in: WIC, Maternal Child Health (MCH), Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN), along with managing our Lifecourse efforts and taking lead on our Community Health Assessment. As the receptionist, Lora was able to work in and gain experience in almost every program within ACHD and has worked with different community members and leaders ever since. Watching Lora grow in the Program Coordinator position has been a great asset to our team. Our clientele and community receive the best care and knowledge from a person who genuinely cares for them. Outside of the office, Lora enjoys spending time with her favorite three guys; her husband Richard and her two boys; RJ and Maverick along with her extended family and friends. Collin Jurries
Environmental Health Specialist Collin grew up in the Lewis Clark Valley and attended Asotin Schools. He is a graduate of Lewis Clark State College where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Science. Collin has been working at Asotin County Health District since 2020 in Environmental Health. He is responsible for conducting food safety, public swimming pool inspections, solid waste inspections, and permitting and inspecting onsite septic systems. Collin enjoys the challenges of a diverse workload. He especially enjoys working with individuals and business owners to provide technical assistance and education in all environmental health programs to protect public health. Collin’s professional goals include becoming licensed in the State of Washington as an On-Site Wastewater Treatment System Designer and eventually obtaining a credential with the National Environmental Health Association as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist, REHS. When not in the office Collin enjoys time at the gym, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, playing on the Snake River and spending time training his bulldog, Paul. Amy Finney
Environmental Health Technician In 2022, Amy graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science. Amy has a passion for helping people, especially in the community that she lives in and Public Health is a natural fit. Amy loves the diversity her new role as Environmental Health Technician brings. Most of her time will be spent on food safety and evaluating food service operations, performing health inspections, educating restaurant managers, and enforcing standards of food safety to ensure they meet the necessary health and safety guidelines. Peggy Burch
HR Admin & Internal Reporting Peggy moved to the LC Valley in April of 2020 with her husband and family. She comes to us with her Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Idaho in Human Resource Management and Information Systems. After several years of working for international production companies she is excited to be working for a public district that is vital to her community. In addition to being our point of contact for state reporting and compliance, she is our Human Resource coordinator for new hire employees, payroll, and benefit management. She is an advocate for efficient logistics management and professionalism in the ongoing challenges facing our regional community and world today. LaAnnabra Wapsheli
Receptionist & WIC Clerk LaAnnabra is an enrolled member of the Nimiipuu Tribe and descendant of the Umatilla. LaAnnabra graduated with their bachelor's degree in Social Work from Lewis Clark State College. LaAnnabra accepted the Receptionist & WIC Clerk position at the Health District due to their interest of utilizing their skillset, both current and future, to serve their communities. LaAnnabra also has been a licensed hair stylist in both Washington and Idaho since 2014 after attending Mr. Leon’s Beauty School. Outside of the office LaAnnabra, enjoys spending time with their family and pets, participating in cultural activities, and pursuing new experiences and education. They also enjoy gardening and learning more about self-sufficiency, food sovereignty and traditional food practices. Maurine Nicholson
Communicable Disease Investigation, Vital Records Maurine comes to us with 25+ years of dental experience as a registered dental assistant and front office management. Starting in our office in 2018 as WIC clerk, receptionist, sharing her natural compassion, she welcomes our clientele with professionalism and warmth. With COVID-19 Pandemic in 2019, Maurine took the position of Lead Disease Investigator and Contact Tracer Coordinator. Maurine works closely with community, schools, health care facilities and area businesses. Maurine continues to be our Disease Investigator, working with COVID, sexually transmitted diseases, Hepatitis, and other communicable diseases. Moving to the LC Valley 5 years ago with her family, Maurine and her husband enjoy exploring the area, outdoor activities, gardening, and their two black labs. Beth Usher
Health Educator, Emergency Preparedness Beth moved from the Eastern Sierras to Idaho in 2021. She holds a bachelor's degree from University of California Santa Barbara and Master of Education degree from University of San Diego. She was a secondary teacher for 10 years before transitioning to Public Health in 2022. Dr. Bob Lutz, MD, MPH
Regional Public Health Officer Bob Lutz provides leadership for the protection of public health; enforcement of public health regulations; and serves as an advisor on matters affecting community health and safety to elected and appointed officials, members of the medical profession, and the public. Dr. Lutz ‘s clinical background is as Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, with more than 30 years of clinical experiences in Urgent Cares, to include serving as the Medical Director of Rockwood Clinic’s Urgent Care division in Spokane, WA. He currently serves on the WA State Board of Health and was a board of health member for Spokane Regional Health District for eight years. He has previously served as a board member of the National Association of Local Boards of Health, and a site reviewer for the Public Health Accreditation Board, a nonprofit national organization dedicated to improving and protecting the health of the public. As a site reviewer, he helped to advance and ultimately transform the quality and performance of state, local, tribal, and territorial public health departments. He has been assigned to the WA Department of Health’s COVID-19 response as a Medical Advisor. |
