What is a Community Health Assessment?
A Community Health Assessment (CHA) is the first step in developing a plan for how ACHD and community partners can better work together to reduce barriers to health. The information from the CHA helps identify strengths and gaps in community access to what they need to be healthy.
We cannot get all the information we want from a short survey. Information from the survey will be combined with community partner interviews, community focus groups and multiple quantitative data sources to find common themes.
The CHA is just the beginning. We look forward to working with the community as we work together to help all Asotin County residents be the healthiest they can be.
